How did popchips partner with Shopmium to drive awareness and recruit new buyers?



popchips is a popular brand of healthier snacks, known for its unique popped texture and a variety of delicious flavours. Through its collaboration with Shopmium, popchips reached a relevant audience, drove consumer education & awareness and recruited new buyers.

The solution

A product valued throughout the shopping experience

A brand channel was developed to showcase six sharing bag SKUs and maximise visibility for the brand. To encourage product trials, popchips delivered a promotional offer of £1 off during five days.

A media plan to increase visibility

To maximise the exposure of the campaign, Shopmium set up a multi-faceted communications strategy. This media activation included posts and stories on social media as well as a newsletter and push notifications to drive users’ attention to the brand’s campaign in the app.

Positive insights

The campaign proved to be a success, meeting the brand’s goals. To collect valuable insights on the product, a post-purchase survey was completed in the app by buyers. 

88% of survey respondents expressed their intention to repurchase the product at full price. 31% of consumers were initially unaware of the brand, discovering it for the first time through Shopmium. 

Furthermore, the product received an overall user rating of 4.61/5.
